Sangoma S518 ADSL Card

Sangoma Technologies is a leading provider of connectivity hardware and software for Wide Area Network (WAN) and Internet infrastructure with 20 years of engineering and technical expertise. At Upstream Internet we love Sangoma's S518 ADSL PCI Card. We use 2 of them ourselves using our Bonded ADSL and SDSL Boot Image (the image gives us the combined bandwidth of 2 ADSL lines!) The Sangoma S518 card, designed and built to server standards of performance and reliability, is the only card we recommend if you want an ADSL connection you can rely upon. It is fully compatible with all BT's ADSL products in the UK, including "Max" DSL for speeds up to 8 Mbits per second. Don't just take our word for it, Sangoma has established a great reputation, have a look at these testimonials. The cards are fully compatible with ADSL services in the UK and we have many happy customers (as well as ourselves) who use them with their ADSL connections (testimonials).

£79.99 each + P & P + VAT

You can order by credit or debit card online.

Please note we can only ship the cards to the billing address of the credit or debit card used for payment.

Why buy from us? If you plan to use the cards for Bonded ADSL, "Channel Bonding", or MLPPP using the Bonded ADSL and SDSL CD Boot Image, you need a valid subscription from us for each ADSL (or SDSL) card in your machine in order to be able to boot the CD image. Subscription is free if you buy your S518 cards from us. If you already have S518 card(s) purchased elsewhere you can purchase subscriptions below.

Additionally, the Sangoma S518 card was first used for bonding ADSL lines using MLPPP with our Bonded ADSL and SDSL CD Boot Image, and as a result of us working with Sangoma to make MLPPP work using the S518 back in Nov 2004 (see here). Plus you won't find a quicker, more personal service anywhere else.

Cards are dispatched for delivery next working business day, packaged in an anti-static bag. As they are from Canada, they do not come with a UK modem cable needed to connect them to a BT telephone socket. We recommend good quality modem cables like these (Dabs.com).

"Max" ADSL Compatibility
The Sangoma S518 is fully compatible with BT's Ipstream Max ADSL, which requires an ADSL modem with the ability to use "rate adaption" and "interleaving" which form part of the ADSL specification G.992.1.

Compatibility with old style S518 cards
Sept 2005 - Sangoma have redesigned the S518 card as shown above. The new cards will happily co-exist with S518 cards made before Sept 2005 (shown here) together in one machine with the same Sangoma Wanpipe driver.

If you have any questions at all about the card please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to help.
